As a recognized expert on Coaching for Physician Executives, Jane was interviewed by Robert Kurtz for a recent article on coaching for Physician Leaders. Jane designed and facilitated a one-day Strategic Planning Summit for 70 senior leaders and guests of a large and rapidly growing Primary Care medical group on the West Coast. Jane used a facilitation technique called Liberating Structures to engage the leaders and stretch them out of their comfort zone. The exercises helped them take a significant step forward in changing the culture of the organization.
Jane co-authored an article for the American College of Healthcare Executives with Dr. John Henson, former VPMA Cherry Hill Campus, Swedish Medical Center. The article, Defeating the Peter Principle, was published in the Physician Executive’s Forum Newsletter, a publication of the ACHE. It addresses strategies for helping physician executives become successful as they rise in the ranks of organizational leadership.

Jane co-facilitated a workshop for 35 senior leaders and guests of a large medical group in the Bay Area . The workshop was designed to help leaders build self-awareness around their core values, communication and leadership styles, and potential derailers. The morning workshop was followed by an afternoon deep-dive workshop for the Executive Team.
Jane co-designed and facilitated the first annual Enrichment Day for the Physician’s Coaching Institute. More than 25 Certified Physician Development Coaches gathered for a day of networking, learning new skills and sharing best practices in Boston MA just prior to the Annual Harvard Coaching Conference/Institute of Coaching Professional Association.
