As an inveterate entrepreneur, Jane appreciates the need to assess and manage the risks and uncertainty that permeate healthcare today. She helps her clients get better results in the face of this complexity. Jane coaches her clients to tap into the rich channels of information available to all, but often ignored. These include relationship awareness, language and cognition, and emotions. Developing a heightened awareness of these channels leads to a deeper level of self-knowledge, keener judgment and better decision making when leading in complexity.

Business/Organizational Leadership Experience
Jane has led consulting projects for healthcare and Fortune 50 high-tech executives including organizational assessments, succession planning, team alignment, and Board/CEO relations.

Prior to founding Leaders Go First, Jane owned and operated ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) as the Medical Director, Administrator and provider of anesthesia services. She consulted with national ASC companies on ASC operations and design and she served as a board member on a national trade association. She also served as an accreditation surveyor for AAAHC, surveying ASCs and large multi-specialty medical practices seeking accreditation. She is a Board-certified anesthesiologist with over 17 years of clinical practice and group leadership experience.

Jane has a long-standing interest in entrepreneurship, emotional intelligence, change leadership, and helping others connect head and heart to elevate the quality of leadership in the world.

Jane is very warm, personable, and a very perceptive listener-- she is exceptionally tuned into your non-verbal communication. She’s also tough and provocative and brings deep knowledge, tools and context to her work. When you work with Jane, be prepared to have a thought-provoking experience which leads to a more introspective and deeper understanding of your approach.  My time with Jane helped me identify my weaknesses, hone my game, and made me a more complete executive.”
